commentary:
start at top of the hill and go down the dirt trail. u have the option of going right at the initial fork towards a narrow trail full of small rocks. frankly, we don't recommend it as it's so slippery. the wider dirt road on the straight path takes longer to get down, but u can run it. it's not as steep. the trail in some parts is lined with trees and other parts wide open country. views of the pacific ocean abound. there are many smaller trails that shoot off the main trail, but u can't really get lost. they either loop you back to the top or take u towards the paved road near the beach at the very bottom of the trail. u can't really get to the beach tho b/c the roads are blocked off since the land is sinking into the ocean. lots of local folks with their horses or mountain bikes use these trails.
